Inside a KRUNCH 1:1 Pilates Session

Rogan is currently training for a running race, so we’re incorporating calf and lower body strength to support his running. He also works a desk job, so posture, alignment and upper body strength are a focus in our sessions.

This is the difference with 1:1 Pilates: every session is tailored to your body, your lifestyle, and your goals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose 1:1 over group classes?

1:1 Pilates allows every session to be tailored specifically to your body, goals, and experience level. You’ll receive individual guidance, technique correction, and a program designed for you, which often leads to faster progress and more confidence compared to general group classes.

Why do a consultation first?

A consultation helps us understand your goals, experience level, and any injuries or pregnancy considerations before you begin. This allows us to tailor your sessions, support your body properly, and make sure you’re starting in the best way for you.

Is KRUNCH suitable for beginners?

Yes beginners are absolutely welcome. Classes can be adjusted to suit different experience levels, and you’ll be guided through the movements so you can feel comfortable and confident as you learn.

Do I need to be fit to start Pilates?

Not at all. Pilates is for every stage of your movement journey. You don't need to be super flexible, strong, or experienced before starting.

How often should I do pilates?

Most people benefit from 2–3 sessions per week, but this will depend on your goals, experience, and schedule. We’ll help you decide what’s best during your consultation.

What should I bring to class?

Wear activewear you feel comfortable moving in. Something fitted is usually best so your form can be seen and you can move freely. We have water available in studio but keep a bottle close by if you're participating online.

What if I have an injury or limitation?

We can generally work around injuries and limitations just make sure you seek medical clearance first.

Do you offer memberships or class packs?

Yes we offer class packs/memberships for those wanting to stay consistent and make movement part of their routine.

Is 1:1 Pilates only for injuries or rehabilitation?

Not at all. While 1:1 Pilates is great for injury rehab and pregnancy-safe exercise, it’s also ideal for anyone wanting personalised training, faster progress, and more individual support.

What style of Pilates do you offer?

We offer modern Pilates that blends controlled movement, strength work, and targeted burnouts. Sessions are tailored to your level, but we make sure you’re always challenged so you can continue to get stronger and see progress.

Can I bring my kids?

We understand life can be a juggle, so your kiddies are welcome to wait in the waiting area during your session. We just ask that they’re able to wait safely and quietly so you can focus on your training.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes, we offer virtual mat and reformer training options so you can move with us from home. This is a great option if you want flexibility or are not local.
